This policy explains how Guby Rogers (“we”) handles personal information when you visit eilconference.com, register for EIL Conference 2026, or contact us. We process data in India in line with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact data: name, organisation, role, email, phone.
- Registration and billing data needed to issue a pass and invoice.
- Payment status from Razorpay. We do not store your full card details; Razorpay processes the payment.
- Technical data such as browser type and pages visited, if our hosting or analytics tools collect them.
3. How we use it
We use your information to complete bookings, send tickets and event updates, answer queries, meet tax and accounting duties, and improve the website. We may send operational emails about the Conference. Marketing emails, if any, will include a way to opt out.
4. Sharing
We share data with Razorpay to take payment; with the venue as needed for access and catering; and with professional advisers or authorities if required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep registration and payment records for as long as needed for the event, refunds, tax and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
6. Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, by emailing info@eilconference.com. We may need to retain some records where the law requires it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures. No website or email is completely secure; please keep your confirmation emails confidential.
